Sakal Social Foundation, Shri Mukund Bhavan Trust and H.V. Collaborate with Desai Eye Hospitals for Free Eye Check-ups during the Ashadhi Wari

Ashadhi Wari

In a bid to promote social consciousness and ensure the well-being of the Warkari sect during the Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage, a series of free eye check-up camps have been organized under the ‘Arogya Wari’ project. The initiative is a joint effort by the Sakal Social Foundation, Shri Mukund Bhavan Trust from Pune, and H.V. in collaboration with Desai Eye Hospital.

These specialized eye examination camps aim to provide necessary medical attention to the devotees and residents of the areas located between Saswad and Wakhri on Sant Dnyaneshwar Maharaj’s Palkhi Marg. This noble initiative will help identify and address any potential eye-related issues among the pilgrims and locals.

With the support of Desai Eye Hospital, the organizers have planned to distribute three hundred free eyeglasses to individuals in various locations, including Saswad, Jejuri, Walhe, Lonand, Phaltan, Tardgaon, Barad, Natepute, Malshiras, Ghamapur, Bhandishegaon, and Wakhri.

The primary focus of this campaign is to ensure that people with vision problems receive the necessary corrective measures and support. Recognizing the importance of eye health, the organizers of the initiative are earnestly appealing to all villagers and devotees to take advantage of the free eye check-up camps. By participating in these examinations, individuals can not only gain insights into their eye health but also receive professional advice and recommendations from experienced eye specialists.

The joint effort by the Sakal Social Foundation, Shri Mukund Bhavan Trust, H.V., and Desai Eye Hospital exemplifies the spirit of community service and empathy. Their commitment to providing free eye care services during the Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage demonstrates the importance of healthcare accessibility and underscores the significance of collective efforts in ensuring the well-being of all participants.

The eye examination camps are expected to make a positive impact on the lives of many individuals, empowering them with better vision and improved quality of life. As the Ashadhi Wari pilgrimage continues, the organizers hope that this initiative will inspire similar endeavors in the future, reinforcing the importance of holistic healthcare within communities.

For more information and details regarding the schedule and locations of the free eye check-up camps, individuals are encouraged to reach out to the organizers or visit the designated information centers along the pilgrimage route.
